"Dungeons & Dragons: Thief's Honor" is a new Paramount Pictures creation starring such famous actors as Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant, Rhee-Jean Page and more. They took the stage in San Diego to a standing ovation from the audience. Pine described the new picture as "full of Spielberg energy," while Grant described it with a "Monty Python (British comic band) attitude."
In the trailer you can see Pine as a bard, Rodriguez as a barbarian, Justice Smith as a sorceress and Sophia Lillis as a druid. They gather in a band of thieves to try to right the wrong that has brought great evil to their land. In the process, the heroes encounter all kinds of fantastical creatures, and Paige, as a promiscuous paladin, seems to join their efforts.
Unlike trailers for recent fantasy projects like "House of the Dragon" and "Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power," the "Dungeons & Dragons" clip looks more upbeat, ending with a shot of Pine happily strumming his lute.
Dungeons & Dragons: A Thief's Honor is scheduled to premiere on March 2, 2023.
